SNT Ukraine has implemented a comprehensive telecommunications solution for a critical infrastructure enterprise, aimed at enhancing the security, manageability, and fault tolerance of mobile technological communications. As part of the project, the functional capabilities of the telecommunications network management system were expanded and its level of cyber protection was significantly strengthened.
The technological foundation of the solution was the integration of the Cisco Firepower network security platform with enterprise-class routers. This made it possible to unite the centralized telecommunications network management system with base stations deployed across the enterprise's territory into a single, secured infrastructure.
As a result, the customer received a robust remote monitoring and administration system for the telecommunications network, implemented by SNT Ukraine specialists within a short timeframe and in compliance with requirements for the continuity of technological processes.
Project highlights
During implementation, a comprehensive set of infrastructure configuration and security works was carried out, including:
- deployment and configuration of network equipment and firewalls to enable secure access to the network management system;
- establishment of secure remote access to network management servers;
- ensuring fault tolerance at the network level between the Cisco switch and firewall cluster and the management server interfaces.
Results for the customer
The project created new mobile technological communication capabilities for the enterprise's field personnel, increased the operational resilience of the telecommunications infrastructure, and ensured its compliance with modern cybersecurity requirements.
